Strengthening at the end of the year –
End of Year Empowerment

By Delphine Takwi:

To all mothers, whether stepmothers, single mothers, grandmothers, adoptive mothers, or fathers who take on the maternal role, these words are for you.
Parenting has never been easy.
Sleepless nights, pain, joy, worries, and care—all of this is called motherhood.
It's a whole package, every year, from January to December, carried by a heart full of love.
It's the only job in the world you don't get paid for,
and yet it is a job that every mother does with passion and dedication.
As 2025 slowly draws to a close, I would like to remind all mothers:
You will be seen.
You are valuable.
And you are stronger than you think.
The world doesn't always stop to applaud you,
but your influence is unmistakable.
Every sacrifice you make,
every silent battle you fight,
every tear you dry, your own or your children's,
shapes a future that only a mother's heart can create.
So stand tall when 2025 comes to an end.
Celebrate your successes, forgive your mistakes
and honor the mother you have become.
You have carried others with dignity—
carry yourselves forward with the same love beyond 2026.
May the coming year bring you peace, strength, and joy.
and remind you that you are never alone on this path.
Keep shining, mothers.
The world grows and lives through you.
Happy New Year.

To all mothers, whether you are a stepmother, single mother, grandmother, adoptive mother, or a father playing the motherly role, these words are for you.
Parenting has never been an easy job or thing to do. When it is all about the pain, the sleepless nights, the joy, the worries, and the care, then it is called motherhood. It is a whole package wrapped up with a heart of love from January to December each year. It is the only job in the world you don't get paid for, yet a job every mother does with passion.
As 2025 slowly comes to an end, I want to remind every mother out there: you are seen, you are valued, and you are stronger than you know. The world may not always pause to applaud you, but your impact is undeniable. Every sacrifice you make, every silent battle you fight, every tear you wipe, whether yours or your child/children's, builds a future only a mother's heart can shape.

Stand tall as 2025 closes. Celebrate your wins, forgive your shortcomings, and honor the mother you have become. You have carried others with grace, may you now carry yourself with the same love over to 2026.
May the coming year bring you peace, strength, joy, and the reminder that you are never alone on this journey.

Keep shining, Mothers. The world thrives because of you.
Happy New Year.
