The "100,000 Mothers" campaign creates the visibility that is long overdue in order to promote equality and justice.

We have over 20 million mothers in Germany and I am one of them. With the federal elections coming up in a few weeks, I can only hope that the generations of my parents and grandparents will remember that they are voting for the future of us and our children. The fact that there is now a campaign demanding a political say, creating visibility for unpaid family work and highlighting the sometimes dramatic bottlenecks in preventive healthcare and psychosocial support for mothers gives me hope and encourages me to take action. Let's join forces - for ALL mothers!

From the kitchen table in Cologne in 1990 and diapers at the town hall to the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin with changing female board members and now with many companions who are committed to a contemporary, consistent and equality-oriented family policy on a voluntary basis, it is long overdue that we mothers in our diversity make ourselves visible together in political Berlin in the fight for equal rights and equality. The vision of an inclusive society in which women's rights are recognized as human rights, equality and equality with #EqualCare, #EqualPay, #EqualPension and equal opportunities for self-realization are a matter of course and culture, is our motivation to be part of this important campaign!

The opportunity to raise awareness for parents. Through my activities on the district parents' committee, I know that the needs of parents do not receive enough public attention, even though families make an important contribution to our society.

Mothers are systematically disadvantaged and have no lobby in this society. It's time we changed that.

Women continue to pay a high price for motherhood - financially, professionally, in terms of health and personally. The hidden costs of care work must be made visible and its value increased. My work advocates financial self-determination for women and better structural framework conditions. We need new role models, reliable care services, fair labour market opportunities for caregivers and appropriate recognition of unpaid work - not least to prevent maternal and old-age poverty and to protect women from financial violence.

The "100,000 Mothers" campaign moves us because it gives us the opportunity to bring the invisible stories and faces of mothers and caregivers into our society. It opens up space for what has long been overlooked: the challenges that caregivers silently bear, the injustices that are often taken for granted. This campaign embodies the call for justice, for equality, for recognition. It brings us together, makes us stand up and feel the power of visibility - a power that has the potential to change structures that have always weighed on the backs of caregivers.

It is mothers and care workers who subsidize our economy. On the contrary, they are confronted with conditions and structural hurdles that lead to exhaustion and professional work below their own level of competence and thus financial dependency. And exhaustion makes you quiet. But we mothers need to speak up! 100,000 Mothers starts right there with its demands and unites in times of division. For the good of all. We see every day in our private lives, at work and in our podcast how strong mothers have to be and how little support they often have. That has to change!

Care work belongs at the heart of our society! It is the basis of our coexistence and finally deserves the recognition it deserves. Mothers must be represented and heard in all areas of society! Their perspectives are indispensable for creating fair structures. I support the "One Hundred Thousand Mothers" initiative because I think it's great that it gives mothers and their concerns a platform and I am convinced of the power of sisterhood. Together we can be loud and make care work visible!

The 100,000 Mothers campaign aims to make women and their achievements visible to society. History is largely written by men. How women live, what they have accomplished and continue to accomplish on a daily basis, and the difficulties they have faced and continue to face are all overlooked. We are delighted that 100,000 mothers in front of the Brandenburg Gate are contributing to greater visibility and more equality.

I am an enthusiastic mother of four grown-up children and see the exhausted mothers of today in my seminars. I myself struggle with poverty in old age. I have published a book on this topic with Kösel: "Too exhausted to be angry." Something urgently needs to change!!!

Single parents are true heroes who, with incredible dedication and a lot of love, earn their living independently while managing everyday life with their children. They are predominantly mothers and their ability to successfully combine work and family life deserves not only recognition, but also fundamental appreciation from society. It is high time that the care they provide on a daily basis is recognized as an indispensable part of social life.

It is actually quite clear, Article 6 of the Basic Law: "Every mother is entitled to the protection and care of the community." A quick look at the statistics makes it clear how much we are disregarding this constitutional mandate throughout society and at all levels: Motherhood Penalty, financial dependency, poverty in old age and, as a logical consequence, falling birth rates; the media staging and idealistic reduction of women to the role of carer and nurturer (maternal instinct), from an early age, and men who, although the majority think they take on half of the day-to-day care work, do not do so and then lament that women won't let them (maternal gatekeeping). We can do it better, we actually want to do it better, so let's finally make it happen!

We think the Hundred Thousand Mothers campaign is great because women* and family issues are hardly ever politically relevant. Family-friendly living conditions, such as fair care work and good healthcare, including better obstetric care, are just two of the most important issues for a society that is fair to mothers and families. It is time to become visible, to draw attention to the concerns of mothers* and families and to make loud demands with a joint campaign such as "One Hundred Thousand Mothers"! We are part of it! Mothers are a pillar of our society and have no lobby between diapers, puberty and mental load. 100,000 Mothers creates the urgently needed networking and visibility.

I support "100,000 Mothers" because the climate crisis affects women in particular and this connection needs much more awareness in our society! The greatest health risk from climate change comes from heat. Women are doubly affected by this. On the one hand, because they react differently physically and, on the other, because they are less able to adapt due to care work and part-time employment. This also has an impact on the particularly sensitive phases of women's lives, from pregnancy and childbirth to menopause and old age. We need more information about this in order to promote participation and equal opportunities, including in overcoming the climate crisis, and to empower women and mothers!

Mothers have no lobby. But our social coexistence is based on the love and energy that carers give every day. This must be made visible!

Maternal health and child health belong together! Think together what belongs together and strengthen structures for growing up well!

For me, a modern women's, health and social policy is particularly important. This must include holistic support for women in the family system. We are still a long way from achieving this as a society, and even more so for those with political responsibility.

From 10 years of professional experience as a maternity care worker, dealing with pregnant women and women who have recently given birth and the plight of obstetrics, I show my attitude, my compassion, my will to "Change - for more quality of life and maternity protection".

The "100,000 Mothers" campaign advocates a society that places mothers* and care work at the center and calls for the consistent inclusion of mothers in all socially relevant decisions.as Beratungsstelle für Natürliche Geburt und Elternsein e. V. we share this vision. In our daily work, we experience the great challenges and the enormous exhaustion that mothers*, parents and care-givers face. We are convinced that structural solutions are needed to provide sustainable relief for families. That is why we are supporting the "100,000 Mothers" campaign to stand up together for real equality, solidarity and a future worth living.

What mothers do for the health of their families cannot be taken for granted. The strength of mothers and caregivers holds our community together. In addition to the invisible care work, gainful employment, which is usually only possible part-time, leads to a loss of self-esteem if career paths are blocked as a result, and later, for a large group, directly into poverty in old age. This must change. Ideally together with fathers. I am also involved in the Equal Care Munich alliance.

Mothers and what they do for society must finally come into the public eye.

What inspires me about the "100,000 Mothers" campaign is that we are finally joining forces (again), pooling our strength and showing that we are neither small, quiet nor indifferent. We want to create our own future and that of the children with whom we live(d) and have a say in matters that affect us and future generations. It is enough for us to be included rather than addressed and we take the space we deserve. 100,000 mothers and more are clearly visible and unmistakable. Be part of it too!

We are mothers ourselves and our hearts burn for mothers. As a platform, we support women with children wherever we can and it is therefore logical that we support this campaign. There is so much to do and we must finally set an example so that we are not constantly ignored, ridiculed and disadvantaged. That is what we are campaigning for!

We want a society in which care is the basis of all life, care work is visible and fairly paid, mothers do not have to choose between family and equality and their health takes center stage. Poverty in old age and poverty among single parents must no longer be a fate. We won't wait any longer - only together can we achieve this!

I believe that as families, as parents, we have been far too quiet, too exhausted, too powerless, too disorganized, even though our challenges are so central. And I am very pleased that so many mothers are leading the way in becoming more political and would like to stand by their side as a father and father expert.

The campaign speaks to me from the heart by addressing the many demands placed on mothers and focusing on the persistent gender care gap, the lack of recognition for mothers' achievements and the structural overload. I am particularly keen to focus on the long-term consequences of unpaid care work for women, such as the threat of poverty in old age due to low pension entitlements.

Although mothers make a significant contribution to the success of society and the economy, they are still systematically disadvantaged and their achievements in the area of care work are made invisible and sometimes even devalued. It is time for us to join forces to draw attention to the fact that we mothers deserve to be seen and demand our equal place in our society. That is why we wholeheartedly support this campaign.

Gustav Heinemann put it aptly: You can recognize the value of a society by the way it treats the weakest of its members. Mothers are the backbone of society, it is more than overdue that this is placed at the center of all action.

The best thing about the campaign is that the joint action of so many women creates visibility! It is essential that politicians and society recognize the mental load of many mothers as a challenge that requires action.

Care work, especially that of mothers, must be publicly recognized. Parents and carers make a huge contribution to this society, usually without financial recognition.

In mothers' centers, we experience every day how important community, social security and real participation are for mothers - this is exactly what "100,000 Mothers" makes visible and emphatically demands. The campaign brings mothers into the public eye as a social force and connects them across all borders. When mothers are strong, the whole of society benefits. This is exactly what the mothers' centers stand for.

We are committed to a fair gender equality policy and therefore support the "100,000 Mothers" campaign. Mothers make an enormous contribution to society, but are structurally disadvantaged - be it through unfair pay and pension systems or the unequal distribution of care work. The campaign's demands - more visibility, a say, better healthcare for mothers and a fairer distribution of care work - are also our demands, as they are central concerns of a modern gender equality policy.

I have been campaigning for the respectful treatment of mothers for years and think networking is important. I like speaking up with one voice.

Because the private sphere is always political!

The 100,000 Mothers at the Brandenburg Gate campaign shows 100,000 reasons why mothers deserve the best possible support. They do immeasurable things for families, our society and democracy. And that starts at birth. A good birth experience - whether spontaneous or by caesarean section - promotes good early childhood bonding and thus the resilience of the young person, which in turn leads to better opportunities for participation in democratic processes. That's why it matters how we are born. And that is why the "Women pay the price" campaign is currently running, with which the German Midwives' Association is calling for a care guarantee, a care guarantee and a quality guarantee for everyone! in the phase of life surrounding childbirth.

We. Are. Too. Quiet! Most of the time we are busy with a thousand things, but we don't have time to be loud. Let's BE LOUDER!

Our society and politics have a highly ambivalent relationship with mothers* and motherhood: on the one hand, there is a romanticized, stereotypical exaltation that finds expression in the mother myth and mother ideal. On the other hand, mothers* experience various forms of devaluation, disadvantage and discrimination. A society that keeps mothers* trapped in this field of tension, does not consider them in political discourse and even ignores them, and systematically curtails their socio-political participation, is an expression of a poor society that is weakening itself. It is way past time to recognize this - and to change it. Cheers to this campaign and full support ahead!

We are also fighting for unpaid care work and care, as well as the knowledge and experience of mothers*, to be more widely recognized and acknowledged by society. We support the campaign and its demands, as it aims to make the experiences of discrimination faced by mothers* more visible and thus improve the realities of their lives.

As a girls' collective, we stand for equality, visibility and solidarity. The "100,000 Mothers" campaign gives mothers a strong voice and makes it clear that care work and maternal health finally belong at the center of political and social discussions: For diversity, for justice and for a future in which all mothers are seen and heard.

Relatives of children with disabilities, especially those with intensive support needs, often spend their entire lives caring for them. Reconciling care, school and work is often only possible with part-time work. This affects mothers in particular, who later have to struggle with lower pension and care contributions. The framework conditions should therefore be improved, e.g. by introducing a wage replacement benefit, improved recognition of care periods in retirement and care or the introduction of low-threshold relief services, which would then also benefit people with disabilities.

As a doctor, author and journalist, I would like to publicly support this great campaign. For many years, I have been campaigning for the perspective of mothers in this society and especially in the field of obstetrics to finally become visible and an important part of quality assurance. It is unacceptable that only outcomes count in medicine and no longer what women experience in this important and formative phase of their lives. The start as a mother should strengthen the woman around the birth and not weaken her!

It is so important that mothers finally become visible and audible! On the street at the Brandenburg Gate and across Germany at café tables to share their experiences and learn from each other.

Our work as women includes a professional career, raising children and most of the mental, organizational and emotional work to keep the family and economic system running. The work alongside the paid job, however, is unpaid, we speak of honorable sacrifice, female devotion and natural maternal instinct. Is that still possible? We demand from now on. And all at the same time.

Mothers are fundamentally neglected in our society, care work is neither valued, let alone paid for, and there is simply a lack of support at every turn. "100,000 Mothers" provides more visibility, networking and gives mothers a platform. We are happy to join in!

The campaign starts exactly where our core issue lies: Strengthening mothers in their mental health and giving them the space they need (after stressful birth experiences). In obstetrics and postnatal care, there is still a lack of support and visibility for the challenges that many women experience after giving birth. With our work, we want to help change this and, together with the campaign, raise awareness of the importance of genuine care for mothers.

Mothers make a significant contribution to society as a whole. This deserves recognition and visibility in every respect. Anything that makes a mother's job more difficult must be removed. Motherhood must not be a disadvantage for women in terms of career and finances!

The "100,000 mothers in front of the Brandenburg Gate" campaign aims to make mothers and people who care for others visible as an important group for politicians and calls for better framework conditions. We support this! Mothers and family carers in particular take on a huge amount of private, unpaid care and housework and therefore have less time for their own paid work. Their care work is indispensable for our society and has great economic relevance, but urgently needs to be distributed more fairly between the sexes.

At last, Berlin is not only being besieged by lobby groups that want to secure selfish partial interests, but by people who stand up for children's and mothers' rights and secure the future viability of this country!

We have to change the system. Period.

As an initiative for young engagement, we are committed to fair coexistence in society and the recognition of diversity. The daily work and responsibility of mothers forms a central basis for our coexistence. But every mother is so much more than that! We support the campaign to demand equality for mothers and recognition of their achievements.

I want to experience solidarity between mothers and help to develop a modern, diverse and self-confident vision of motherhood and family together and to demand this politically.

Mothers are the backbone of our society, they still perform the majority of care work alongside their gainful employment. Precisely because we do so much in our everyday lives, we are far too quiet and unfortunately we are underrepresented at a political level and at the decisive levers. For this reason, we need to speak up and stand up for ourselves and our rights. Because there is still a lot to do before we actually have equal rights in our society.

I support the campaign, because motherhood in Germany is an important cross-cutting political issue, the significance of which is far too little the basis for political decisions. The dimensions are socio-political, health policy, relevant for the labor market, gender equality policy, financial and economic policy, family care work - care, pension policy, ... - and thus central to our society.

"Mothers will manage somehow" - this is often the assumption of politics, business and society. Whether in a pandemic, economic or social crisis - the assumption is that women can and should shoulder more and more of the burden - because they feel they are responsible for everything that has to do with care work and caring responsibilities. And the "somehow" is increasingly often a "no matter how". We see the consequences in our daily work and also in our personal environment. Stressed and overburdened women, exhausted mothers who wear themselves out between the many tasks, expectations and responsibilities. Only solidarity and solidarity can help. We will be there on May 10!

What inspires me about the campaign is the unity and solidarity among mothers.

I support the campaign because supporting the health, social and professional integration of women heals a whole family!

Families hold our society together and within families, it is usually mothers who shoulder the greatest burdens. However, this huge share that we bear in the functioning of our society is neither reflected in politics nor in general visibility. We can only change this together by standing together in solidarity.

Women and mothers are losing ground they have already gained and a backlash is looming. We can only defy this if we fly the flag together, have courage and do not allow ourselves to be "signed off". Women and families hardly feature in the political debate. They are not really interested in what concerns them. The voice of individual women is nothing but embarrassing and larmoyant. Concentrated embarrassment, on the other hand, is not so easy to dismiss.

The German Medical Association (DÄB) is enthusiastic about the "100,000 mothers in front of the Brandenburg Gate" campaign because it addresses important issues that are close to the hearts of many women and mothers. The campaign is committed to ensuring that family and career can be better reconciled and that mothers receive the support they deserve. The DÄB shares these values and feels motivated to be part of the movement because this is exactly what it wants to promote: more equal rights and equal opportunities for women. It is great to stand up together for a society in which mothers can fulfill their roles freely and without unnecessary hurdles.

With their daily care work, mothers help to build the hearts of their children. In this way, children grow strong roots on which the society of tomorrow can build. The work of mothers must therefore be valued accordingly in society.

The role of mothers must be re-evaluated and respected by society as a whole. I am happy to stand up for this.

As co-owner of an architecture firm run by two fathers, and from personal experience in the family in the healthcare professions of midwifery, osteopathy, physiotherapy and geriatric care, I have learned that good buildings, good urban planning and good infrastructure in general absolutely need the perspectives of mothers and female care workers. Only when their knowledge is incorporated can truly liveable, family-friendly spaces that improve everyone's lives be created. I am committed to this - both professionally and privately.

We as the Family Federation support the 100000 Mothers campaign because it campaigns for better social and financial conditions for mothers and thus contributes to the recognition and appreciation of family work.

No one can hide behind the fact that it is not obvious: all the findings on the subject of (un)compatibility are on the table, and the disadvantages our society provides in terms of pensions and income for those who take on care work are clearly evident. Something MUST change now!

Even today, it is still mainly mothers who are responsible for raising children, running the household, organizing family life and also working. With their day-to-day commitment, mothers are the backbone of our society. Their concerns affect us all. Nevertheless, they do not receive the attention they need to provide the necessary relief and support for mothers. The "100,000 Mothers" campaign wants to change this - that's why I'm involved.

How multifaceted the unequal treatment of FLINTA* can be in terms of equal rights and equality and how it can be depicted apart from sober figures: in intersectional, post-feminist, hegemony-free equality.

Mothers are the backbone of society and it's time we ALL took responsibility. The well-being of mothers concerns us ALL!

Mothers in the center - has been my wish, struggle and field of work for decades. Mothers in the center - is our cultural root, with well-being for ALL, peace, lived equality and without excessive demands, which our form of society still affords today. So far at the expense of life, a peaceful and loving birth and death, health and mental well-being. This can change! It must change! This is my heartfelt wish! And my enthusiasm for 100,000 mothers and more! Thank you all for being part of it!!!

We need a strong alliance for more visibility, appreciation and recognition of (unpaid) care work. Caring is the foundation that holds everything together and must not be a risk of poverty. I would like to see equal rights for care work and paid work. I would like to see better conditions for parenthood. A questioning of the current "normality", which contains so much absurdity. Why is it normal for many women* to experience violence during childbirth? Why is it normal that single parents are often affected by poverty? Why is it normal that there is structural deprivation? Why is it normal to establish full-time work as the norm for everyone, regardless of all care obligations? Who defines what performance is? Whose performance remains invisible? And what does that do to us? And how could it be otherwise? And hundreds more questions.

Empowering mothers! Becoming socially and politically vocal about the issue of equality. Identifying with a group and issues that move me.

Women are the backbone of our society: whether as colleagues and superiors at work, as mothers, as partners or as carers. Strengthening women's rights is smart. Because they are the glue that holds everything together.

The broad social alliance behind the campaign - with the aim of promoting equal rights and drawing attention to the social disadvantages faced by families - and mothers in particular. It is about protection against discrimination, especially in the labor market, the fair distribution of care work and the social appreciation that is unfortunately all too often lacking. For me, it's also about celebrating single parents as everyday heroes. May 10 is my birthday - an ideal day to launch such an important social movement. I am happy to be a part of this movement.

For 25 years, I have been committed to the health of mothers and children as part of my work for Mothers' Convalescence and Haus WaldQuelle, both in concrete terms and for society as a whole.

The "100000 Mothers" campaign inspires me because it sends out a strong signal against violence against women and raises awareness of this pressing social problem. Violence against women - whether physical, psychological or economic - not only affects individuals, but has a profound impact on families and society as a whole. This campaign gives a voice to those affected, calls for protection, support and structural change, and motivates me to be part of it because I believe that real change is only possible through collective commitment. Every mother, every woman deserves to live in safety and dignity. The campaign shows that we are not alone, but that we can fight together for a future free of violence. It encourages us not to look away, but to take action - for ourselves, for our children and for future generations.

The campaign will finally make mothers and what they do on a daily basis visible. Women and mothers should receive the support they deserve from the state and society in all phases of their lives.

System performance needs system relevance!

Mothers should be visible, with their multiple burdens, their hardships and their joys. They are cool, they are sexy, creative, successful at work and not just homebodies.

Many of the problems currently facing our society are the result of an outdated image of dominant masculinity, which emphasizes characteristics that work against a healthy functioning community. Ideas of care that go beyond financial provision and maintaining the power of one's own "clan" are clearly neglected here. We therefore believe that strengthening the values of CARE will not only benefit those who run it but are confronted with unbroken devaluation, but that an appreciation of CARE also represents a great (and absolutely necessary) opportunity for society as a whole.

Focus on mothers and their diverse activities. Strengthen solidarity between women and mothers.

As an equal opportunities officer, I see every day how far we are still from true equality. The structural hurdles that mothers face - whether in the world of work, in the healthcare system or in the recognition of our care work - are real. They are not "individual challenges", but an expression of a system that still treats care work as a minor matter.

As a mother of 4 daughters and a son, daughter, niece and daughter-in-law, it is important to me to stand up for better conditions for all generations of women. Poverty in old age, educational opportunities, gender pay gap, career decline, motherhood penalty - there is still a lot to do!

Finally, a topic that is so important for society is becoming visible. Thank you.

We all want the same thing: More visibility and audibility for the concerns and needs of mothers* and other unpaid care workers. The challenges of our everyday lives are not individual, but structural! As an action alliance, we know about the power of joining forces, let's form even bigger and stronger bonds! Our vision: A society that understands and supports care work as the basis for social cohesion and quality of life.

Unpaid care work by mothers must finally be recognized as a key contribution to society. Caring for and for each other is the prerequisite for human identity and the basis of society. Care work must be decoupled from femininity so that something changes, because everyone can care and look after each other. With our support, we want to create visibility for these issues, solidarity and politicization. 100000 Mothers is a wonderful campaign that can create visibility for the essentials in our society and could finally give mothers the recognition they deserve.

Mothers are the quiet heroines of our everyday lives: they shape, move, organize, encourage and give us support when we need it most.as Protestant women in Baden, we are committed to making the contribution that women make to the church and society visible. Our goal is a just society in which all people have equal access to resources, influence and appreciation. Speaking up for justice together in solidarity! That's great! We are part of it.
