Parents are so busy between earning a living, care work, daycare, school, household & co. that they rarely drum up support for their concerns. The Hundred Thousand Mothers campaign is great and unfortunately very, very timely: family, children and (supposed) women's issues are currently not perceived by politicians as what they should be, namely the heart of a country and therefore highly politically relevant. Family-friendly living and working conditions, fair education, a society that recognizes opportunities instead of excluding them - there is a lot to demand: A focus on family issues is the key to ensuring that we can continue to live healthy, happy and secure lives in Germany in the future.
