Networking, Care Power & New Alliances on November 12, 2025, in Berlin
Please take a seat at the Red Table_Care: Together with Working Moms, a networking meeting was held at the Federal Foundation Gleiposition invited – and it turned out to be a truly powerful evening for everyone who wants to raise awareness of care work and bring about political change.
The initiatives introduced themselves in short, powerful pitches:
• Working Moms – for a genuine work-life balance
• Red Table Care – the network of many care initiatives
• League for Unpaid Labor (LUA)
• Enough! – the campaign for the global women's strike on March 9, 2026.
• 100,000 mothers – our commitment to equality, visibility, and fair conditions for mothers and all care workers
• Berlin Declaration – a nationwide alliance for equality
• Care Foundation
• Shia Berlin e.V., Self-help initiative for single parents.
• Caring Culture Lab – the Artistic Care Revolution Now for fair work in the cultural sector.
After this concentrated round of information, thanks to the Working Moms, there was truly excellent catering and plenty of room for conversation. There was laughter, planning, and networking.
As a campaign, the four of us were well represented and were able to hold intensive discussions and make important agreements. For example:
• with Adrienne Goehler from Enough to collaborate on the global women's strike—we are definitely on board!
• Susanne Mierau, who will be acting as ambassador for our campaign in the future, yay!
An evening full of energy, connection, and new beginnings.
