Strong voices, strong empowerment - mothers in focus on International Zero Tolerance Day against FGM/C. Our co-initiator Delphine Takwi, consultant for transcultural dialog and maternal health, visited the Lessan e.V. conference in Hamburg yesterday. There she conducted moving interviews with mothers about their experiences and challenges in the field of maternal health.

The event emphasized how crucial transcultural resources are for the health and empowerment of mothers. The voices of these mothers must not be ignored. Together, we are setting an example - for visibility, protection and real equality.
