Some of us have been working in refugee aid for years, others in local politics or in mother-child health, while others reported on their own experiences of migration, exams, dealing with the authorities, the strength of being a mother in a new country - and the exhaustion that comes with it.

We talk about the barriers that migrant mothers face every day: lack of daycare places, language barriers, complicated administrative procedures, trauma, loneliness - but also about the many moments when integration succeeds because women stand up for each other.
About health as a mother. About the burden that remains invisible. And about the vision of becoming loud together.

At the center is the question: How can a Ms a campaign for mothers that really takes all mothers into account?
Answers to these questions are not created at a desk, but from stories - from experiences, voices and perspectives. That is why we have decided: We collect. We write. We tell stories. In any language, in any format.

Until May 9 - until we stand together in Berlin - this group will grow. Mothers who want to be heard. Mothers who are looking for allies. Mothers who want to empower others.

Our first meeting showed that there is a great longing for spaces in which diversity is understood as a strength and care becomes visible as a political issue.

We're off together now. Transcultural. Connected. Loud.
And we invite everyone to join in the story.

We will meet again on 14.01.2026.

With them and on the photo from left to right top Soraya Al-Janabi, Antje Krause, Dr. Caroline Ajonina, middle: Irene Pabst, Fawzia Farah, Delphine Takwi, bottom: Dominique Laure Negadjou Kamdem
