At the same time, we are looking ahead: how can we tackle current and future challenges?<\/p>\n<p>People who perform care work - especially mothers, but also fathers or family caregivers - need support for their physical, mental and emotional health more than ever. Our specialist event will address topics such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strategies to overcome outdated gender roles and images of motherhood that contribute to the unequal distribution of care work and exhaustion.<\/li>\n<li>ways to facilitate access to our services and to better reach mothers with a history of migration or flight.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The day will conclude with a relaxed get-together in the evening - an opportunity for networking and encounters.<\/p>\n<p>We are expecting exciting guests, including the gender researcher <strong>Dr. Franziska Schutzbach<\/strong>, Basel and <strong>Dr. Gwladys Awo<\/strong>founder of LESSAN e.V., activist for overcoming gender-based violence and racism, Hamburg<\/p>\n<p><strong>On May 10, 2025<\/strong> we are taking our demands for real equality to the streets - with the \"100,000 mothers in front of the Brandenburg Gate\" campaign. What is needed are framework conditions that enable mothers - as different as they are - to lead a good life.
