Nine lives full of dreams and futures were brutally ended.<br \/>\nAmong the victims was Mercedes Kierpacz, a mother of two. Her family must continue to live with the immeasurable loss.<\/p>\n<p>Hanau was not an isolated case. Hanau is everywhere.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udd34 Warning signals were ignored, emergency calls were not taken seriously.<br \/>\n\ud83d\udd34 The authorities played down the danger, even though the perpetrator had long been known.<br \/>\n\ud83d\udd34 To this day, the families are still waiting for real clarification and consequences.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the bereaved continue to fight. Serpil Temiz Unvar, Ferhat Unvar's mother, has created a space for empowerment and education with the Ferhat Unvar educational initiative.<\/p>\n<p>But not all mothers can keep fighting. We remember.
