A mother came to Germany in 1992. She raised two daughters, survived a violent marriage, worked and did voluntary work. Despite health restrictions, she now lovingly looks after her grandson.
\nBut now she is threatened with deportation - because she doesn't speak enough German.

\nIsn't it a lifetime achievement to successfully guide two children through school and work? Helping to shape a community, even if there are language barriers? Why is this work not recognized as a contribution to society?
