A strong, courageous action that draws attention to the blatant shortcomings in obstetrics and emphatically shows that political changes are long overdue.<br \/>\nIn Germany, around a third of women experience birth trauma - often due to assaults without consent and inadequate care during childbirth. The DHV's demands could help these women:\u00a0<strong>1:1 care by midwives as standard and a comprehensive care network close to home are crucial<\/strong>to improve the health care of women around the time of birth.<\/p>\n<p>We from\u00a0<strong>100,000 mothers<\/strong>\u00a0support this campaign wholeheartedly.\u00a0<strong>The physical and mental health of mothers must finally become the focus of policy.<\/strong>\u00a0This is precisely why we not only stand by midwives today, but also continue to fight for better conditions and genuine equality.<\/p>\n<p>Our work does not stop after the general election.
